The Sciton Halo Laser is a revolutionary hybrid fractional laser which combines deep dermal rejuvenation with epidermal renewal. The Halo combines technologies to create a synergistic effect that you won’t get with any other treatment. With Halo treatment, you can achieve the results that you would expect with the old ablative fractional lasers but with the downtime of a non-ablative fractional laser.
For detailed information on what downtime you can expect, book in for your consultation with one of our registered nurses today.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING TREATMENT?
Thirty minutes to an hour before your treatment, one of our clinicians will apply a topical anaesthetic on your skin to reduce the sensation during your treatment. To achieve the best results, the treatment area will be measured with a new motion tracking technology to ensure the area is treated evenly. Many patients describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations, but generally comfortable. With deep treatment levels, the client will continue to experience a warm sensation for an additional 30 minutes to an hour.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT POST TREATMENT?
You may feel some heat immediately after treatment, this may be relieved using our Zimmer cooling system and ice packs that are provided for you. A healing cream will be applied to the skin which you can also take home with you to continue applying over the next few days.
Some patients may experience some swelling soon after their treatment. Bronzing of the skin will occur between day two and three after treatment. At days three to five post treatment the skin peels revealing your new skin beneath. Individual responses to the treatment may vary.
A follow up appointment will be made for approximately 7 days after your treatment and is included in your treatment package. This enables us to provide you with the best post-treatment care possible.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
You will see initial results between two and five days after your Halo treatment and your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two weeks to three weeks which is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months.
HOW LONG WILL MY RESULTS LAST?
Results are long term and will last for years to come. It is important to keep your new healthy skin protected using UV sunscreen and staying protected with suitable clothing in the direct sun. Each additional Halo treatment will only improve your results further, giving you even brighter and healthier skin.
